Zapphire

A private AI workforce for independent business.

Zapphire is a governed AI agent system that learns how a business runs and takes on the work of running it, so small and medium business owners are no longer buried by their back office. Our Alpha deployment is live today, we are preparing for our Beta cohort imminently.

The gap we saw

The last two years handed everyone extraordinary AI and left most small businesses more overwhelmed, not less. General-purpose AI is brilliant and forgetful. It holds no memory of your business, no feel for your judgment, and no accountability for what it does in your name, so the owner ends up being its memory, its glue, and its safety net, and does more of the work rather than less.

The missing piece was never a smarter model. It was a system that remembers one specific business, works inside real boundaries, and can be trusted to act on its own. That is what we build.

What we build

Zapphire is a private AI agent that runs a business's operations, and the platform that makes it safe to do so. Each business gets its own agent, in its own isolated environment, that learns how that business works, its voice, its judgment, the way it handles things, and quietly takes on the recurring load: the correspondence, the follow-ups, the invoicing, the content, the thousand small decisions a day. It earns responsibility gradually, stays inside the lines the owner draws, and grows more capable every month. Businesses subscribe to it, and each one runs on its own dedicated deployment.

What makes that possible is the layer beneath the agent. We built a compiler that turns a business's operating rules into enforced code, governance as code, so the agent's limits are structural rather than suggestions. We built a knowledge engine that gives each agent durable, private memory of its business, the kind that survives the constant churn of new models. And we built the orchestration and fleet infrastructure that provisions, monitors, secures, and improves every deployment. The raw intelligence is composed from the best of open source. The parts that make it trustworthy, private, and durable are ours.

How we build

We treat autonomy as a safety problem, because on a real business it is one. Every change is specified, adversarially reviewed, tested, and released under version control, with independent evaluation standing between any change and a live client. Every deployment is isolated, observable, backed up, and recoverable. This is the unglamorous engineering that lets a business hand real work to an agent and then stop thinking about it, and it is the part that is genuinely hard to copy.

Where we are

Zapphire is live and running in production, and we are preparing to onboard our Beta cohort next. We have built the company self-funded to this point, and we are now raising to drive our development roadmap from Beta through to General Release.

Who we are

Zapphire was built by two founders who between them understand both halves of the problem. Jarrod Wright builds secure, specialised software systems. Melody Kiersz spent years running an independent wellness practice and living the exact overwhelm the product removes. One of us knows how to make an autonomous system safe; the other knows precisely what it has to feel like to the person trusting it with their business.

We began with wellness practitioners because we know them. But the need is not theirs alone. Every independent business will soon want an operational layer it can trust, one that carries its context forward no matter how the underlying technology changes. That durable layer is what we are building. The agent is only where it starts.
